These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern the use of the Hungry Club restaurant reservation service (“Service”), accessible via the website hungryclub.fi and any associated mobile application, operated by:

By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not accept these Terms, please do not use the Service.
Hungry Club is an online marketplace and reservation platform that connects diners with partner restaurants across Finland. Through the Service, users may:
Hungry Club acts as an intermediary between the Users (regular public who are restaurant goers) and the Restaurant (paying customer of HungryClubFI Oy). The actual dining service, including food and beverage provision, is provided solely by the restaurant. HungryclubFI Oy is not a party to the contract between the user and the restaurant for the dining experience.
3.1 Registration: Certain features of the Service require users to create a user account. Users must provide accurate and complete information during registration and keep your account details up to date.
3.2 Account Security: Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Users must notify Hungry Club immediately at [email protected] if you suspect any unauthorised use of your account.
3.3 Account Eligibility: The Service is intended for Users who are at least 18 years of age, or who have the consent of a parent or guardian. By using the Service, Users confirm that you meet this requirement.
4.1 Booking Process: When Users submit a reservation request through Hungry Club, the request is transmitted to the partner restaurant. A reservation is confirmed only upon receipt of a confirmation message from Hungry Club or the restaurant. Hungry Club does not guarantee the availability of any table until confirmation is issued.
4.2 Accuracy of Information: Restaurants are responsible for ensuring that reservation details — including date, time, number of guests, and any special requests — are correct at the time of booking. Hungry Club is not liable for errors resulting from inaccurate information provided by the Restaurant or Users.
4.3 Special Requests: Dietary requirements, accessibility needs, or other special requests submitted via the platform are communicated to the restaurant on a best-efforts basis. Hungry Club cannot guarantee that restaurants will be able to accommodate all requests.
5.1 User Cancellations: Users may cancel a confirmed reservation through your Hungry Club account or by following the instructions in your confirmation email. The cancellation policy applicable to each booking is displayed at the time of reservation and may vary by restaurant.
5.2 Restaurant Cancellations: In the event that a restaurant cancels or cannot honour a confirmed reservation, Hungry Club will make reasonable efforts to notify you promptly. Hungry Club's liability in such cases is limited to notifying the user and, where applicable, assisting in finding an alternative reservation.
5.3 No-Shows: Repeated no-shows (failure to attend a confirmed reservation without prior cancellation) may result in restrictions being placed on User’s Hungry Club account. Some restaurants may impose fees for no-shows; these are set by the restaurant and will be clearly communicated prior to booking.
Users agree not to use the Service to:
Hungry Club reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
The Service may allow users to submit reviews, ratings, and comments regarding restaurants. By submitting User Content, you grant HungryclubFI Oy a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to display, reproduce, and moderate such content for the purposes of operating the Service.
User Content must be based on genuine personal experience and must not:
Hungry Club reserves the right to remove User Content that violates these Terms or that is otherwise deemed inappropriate, without prior notice.
All content on the Hungry Club platform — including but not limited to the logo, design, software, text, graphics, and data — is owned by or licensed to HungryclubFI Oy and is protected by Finnish and EU intellectual property law.
User and Restaurants may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from any part of the Service without express prior written consent from HungryclubFI Oy.
HungryclubFI Oy processes User and Restaurant personal data in accordance with its Privacy Policy, available at www.hungryclub.fi/privacy. Personal data is processed on the basis of contract performance, legitimate interests, and, where required, consent, in compliance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Finnish Data Protection Act (1050/2018).
Personal data submitted in connection with a reservation (name, contact details, preferences) may be shared with the relevant partner restaurant solely for the purpose of fulfilling that reservation.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable Finnish consumer law:
These limitations do not apply to liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under Finnish or EU consumer protection law.
The Service may contain links to third-party websites, services, or content. Hungry Club does not endorse or accept responsibility for any third-party content and is not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of third-party services.
Hungry Club reserves the right to modify the Service, its features, or these Terms at any time. Material changes to these Terms will be communicated to registered users via email or an in-app notification at least 14 days before taking effect. Continued use of the Service following such notice constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
You may terminate your Hungry Club account at any time by contacting [email protected]. HungryclubFI Oy may suspend or terminate your access to the Service with immediate effect if you materially breach these Terms or engage in conduct that is harmful to the Service, partner restaurants, or other users.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Finland. Any dispute arising from these Terms or the use of the Service shall first be submitted to Hungry Club for resolution via email at [email protected].
If a dispute cannot be resolved amicably, Finnish consumers have the right to refer the matter to the Consumer Disputes Board (Kuluttajariitalautakunta, www.kuluttajariitalautakunta.fi) free of charge, or to the competent Finnish courts. The EU Online Dispute Resolution platform is also available at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
